A laboratory is not finished when the furniture is installed. It is finished when it is certified for use. Two statutory gates decide that — and both sit inside our scope.

GATE 01 / DOSH

LEV Baseline Inspection

Every new local exhaust ventilation system — fume hoods, extraction arms, ducting — must pass a baseline examination by a DOSH-registered competent person before use.

How the inspection works

GATE 02 / DOE

DOE Approval Submission

Laboratories with air discharge, effluent or scheduled wastes fall under the Environmental Quality Act. The submission has to describe the facility as built — so we prepare it as part of the design.
