The challenge
A public university needed a microbiology laboratory that serves both teaching and research — on a public-sector budget that left no room for re-work.
The build
Lab ID designed a layout that separates teaching benches from research workstations, specified worktops for the disinfection regime microbiology demands, and delivered storage and extraction within the same scope and budget line.
Certified outcome
The laboratory was delivered on budget and in service for the following intake. Five-figure projects get the same specification discipline as five-million-ringgit ones — that is the point of having in-house systems.
